If you are going to install fiber optic backbone cable into your network , please concern the following scenario:

FiberXpress manufactures pre-terminated fiber optic cables . This new technology is twelve (12) fibers or six(6) in one connector (MTP). Either single mode or multi-mode.

Description:

  • These MT cables come on their own reel with pulling eye.  Any manufacturers cable can be used, and any type i.e.. riser, ribbon, armored etc.  We typically us AFL Telecommunications cable, but we have used Corning, Mohawk and many others.
     
  • Once the cable is pulled through your inter-duct, the MT connectors are connected into our cassette modules. 

      
  • On one side of the cassette would be the MTP connector and on the other side you specify what type you  want: SC, ST MTRJ, FC, or  Escon.  Simplex, Duplex, Male or Female.
  •   The  cassette modules will now fit into any one of  our fiber housings.  Wall mount boxes or  Rack mount boxes. Up to 144 fibers can be housed within our fiber management boxes.
